Indium and CMS Insurance create strategic partnership to provide independent agents expanded market access and growth solutions.

Two regional, independent agent-led agency networks are collaborating to support the growth of independent insurance agents. CMS Insurance Service, a West Virginia-based agency network supporting 130 independent agents in 6 states, has acquired a minority ownership interest in Indium (formerly MarketSource Agency Network), an Ohio-based agency network supporting 330 independent agents in 11 states.

40 years ago, Conn and Joyce Johnson began an independent insurance agency in a small town in West Virginia (Johnson Insurance Agency). Johnson Insurance has taken great pride in being a family-owned agency upholding the unique values and principles inherent to the independent agency system.
