Chad Eddy, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Phone: (614) 942-1470
Email: ceddy@goindium.com
LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/justinceddy

As the CEO of Indium, Chad is responsible for collaborating with our Management Committee on the strategic direction and vision of Indium, as well as being accountable for leading a culture for high performance and the overall results we achieve.

Chad has more than 20 years of multifaceted, multi-industry experience, including roles in insurance, management consulting and Major League Baseball. After earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his MBA, he spent 14 years at Nationwide Insurance in a variety of technology and business operations roles. In his last role at Nationwide, he built and managed the sales operations organization within Nationwide’s start-up Direct Retail Distribution. Chad is also on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Ohio.

Chad loves the opportunity to make a difference in the industry and for our agents and company partners. He believes a good partner is someone who shares your values and someone who puts shared goals first, and that’s what he does at Indium every day.

When he’s not at Indium, he likes spending time with his family, playing and watching hockey, listening to good music, reading and raising money for cystic fibrosis research. How does he manage to squeeze everything in? Getting up at 4:30 every morning certainly helps.

Where’s your favorite place?
We have a family vacation spot in a little town called Lakeside, MI. It’s right on Lake Michigan, with no cell phone reception and no TV. It’s my great escape.

What would you be doing if you weren’t in the insurance industry?
Something in Major League Baseball. Or a starving artist.

What can’t you stop talking about?
My kids, my job, U2, hockey, Starbucks coffee. You know, all the necessities in life.

David Giancola, Jr., CISR

Chief Operating Officer

Email: dgiancola@goindium.com
LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/davidgiancolajr

As Chief Operating Officer, David is responsible for leading our team of Account Managers for Personal and Commercial lines, while also leading our relationship management efforts with our agency partners and company partners.

David grew up wanting to be a police officer. Fortunately for us, he took a job in insurance during college—scheduling his classes to fit around his work schedule—and it’s been a perfect fit ever since. After beginning his career at Progressive Insurance, he moved into an account management role with The Oswald Companies, where he specialized in high-net-worth clientele. From there, David was the Personal Lines department manager and account executive at Neace Lukens and the team manager for Huntington Insurance’s Personal Lines Service.

David continually strives to work “Above the Line” by seeing a problem, owning it, solving it and then doing it. And what does he do when he’s not at the office? You’ll find him with his family, on the golf course or driving around town in his old convertible.

What do you love about Indium?
The culture. The people on this team get it, and we are able to work collectively.

What could you never give up?
My lists! I’m a list guy, and without them, I would be lost and unorganized.

Where is your favorite place?
Anywhere in Italy. I’ve been there a few times and I cannot wait to go back to visit family and take in the history and culture.

What can’t you stop talking about?
Costco…I love that store. My coworkers are tired of hearing about it!
